With an aim to acknowledge the social, economic, and cultural achievements of women from all spheres of life, BVM (USN ) celebrated International Women's Day with full zeal. The purpose of the day is to honour women's accomplishments and to raise awareness about gender biasness. Ingenious Bhartiyans (lll to X) impersonated as , Lata Mangeshkar, Nirmala Sitaraman, Samriti irani, Shakuntala Devi etc. recognising their contribution towards the upliftment of society. Budding dancers enthralled one and all with their stupendous dance performance themed ' NAARI SHAKTI '. Sparkling alumni of alma mater, greeted the supreme creation of the universe- on this auspicious day , spreading a message of 'Gender equality for a better tomorrow'. Emphasising on the essential issues faced by women , Ragini Thapar ( XII COM) acqainted everyone with the significance of the day . Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal in her address exhorted women to become self dependent, pursuing their dreams with undaunted spirit.
